This magnificent hall, situated amid expansive rural fields and lush woodlands, is just a 5 minute drive to the golden sands of Sheringham’s Blue Flag beach. The property epitomises rural living through it’s furnishings and features such like the open fires, large Aga in the kitchen perfect for cooking up a feast, gin bar, hot tub, tennis court, en-suite bedrooms and super-king beds and not forgetting plenty of space for the family dogs.

Gresham Hall boasts a beautiful rural locale with front row seats to morning and evening wildlife viewing and countryside goings on. Enjoy traditional lawn games, get lost in a novel in the private valley, soak up the rays in the hot tub or take the dogs for a walk along the quaint countryside lanes.

If you require accommodation for up to 20 guests, the hall provides 3 additional apartments linked to the main property via an adjoining door. These are named Ground Wing, Middle Wing, and Upper Wing.

Step through the large wooden doors of Gresham Hall into the majestic wooden-panelled entrance hall, where a wood burner radiates warmth amidst comfortable seating. This grand space provides access to all ground floor rooms and showcases an impressive staircase leading to the first floor.

Bedroom 1 offers versatility with a zip and link super king-size bed, easily convertible into two single beds. Enhanced by a Freeview TV, this room boasts French doors that open onto the garden, adding a touch of tranquility.

At the opposite end of the hallway, the ground floor shower room awaits, featuring a shower cubicle, WC, washbasin, and a heated towel rail for added comfort.

The drawing room exudes spaciousness, accommodating up to 10 guests with ample comfortable seating. Sunlight streams through the large windows, complementing the cozy ambiance created by the expansive open fireplace. A 50″ Freeview TV features, while tasteful lamps and ornaments add to the room’s charm.

The kitchen serves as a delightful gathering space for families throughout the day, boasting ample utensils and worktops for meal preparation, including a large Aga for hearty cooking. Modern amenities such as a microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer are provided. A table and chairs offer a spot for casual meals or breakfast, while the room’s decor features a large decorative fireplace, wooden flooring, tiles, and vibrant artwork, with large windows overlooking the garden.

Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining room beckons with its grandeur, accessible from both the kitchen and hallway. A large table provides seating for 10 guests, complemented by a chandelier, decorative fireplace, wooden flooring, and opulent fixtures, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Further beyond the kitchen lies a cocktail bar, perfect for entertaining, and a utility space complete with a boot room, catering to practical needs while adding a touch of sophistication to the residence.

First Floor

Ascend the statement staircase to the first floor which presents 4 opulent bedrooms, all with their own ensuite bathrooms.

Bedroom 2 is a spacious four-poster super king-size room, offering a view of the vast rear garden and hot tub. Designed with exquisite attention to the hall’s historical character. There is an ensuite bathroom which boasts a free standing roll top bath and a large walk in shower cubicle, also access from the hallway. The bathroom has a large mirror with lights and vanity unit alongside a heated towel rail, WC and plenty of natural light.

Bedroom 3 is a beautifully appointed zip and link super king-size room (which can be split into twin beds) with a view of the rear of the house and its delightful gardens. Adorned with charming wisteria wallpaper, the room is adorned with numerous ornate pictures and decorations. There is access to an ensuite shower room with walk in shower, WC, vanity unit with mirror and a heated towel rail.

Bedroom 4 offers a king size sleigh bed with Freeview TV and ensuite shower room. The room provides views of lush gardens and a meticulously maintained croquet lawn which runs beside the property, along with complimentary Freeview TV and lovely woodland wallpaper. The ensuite shower room comprises of a walk in shower, WC, heated towel rail and vanity unity with mirror and lighting.

Bedroom 5 is yet another flawlessly designed super king-size room, boasting a view of the front of the house. The bed is a zip and link, therefore offers the option of splitting into 2 single beds. The ensuite offers a bath with overhead shower, WC, washbasin and heated towel rail.

Each room showcases exquisite period characteristics like ornate fireplaces and stunning decorations.

Outside

Gresham Hall is surrounded by acres of fields, woodlands, a private valley, manicured lawns and estate walks to view the vast array of flora and fauna.

There is a patio area with outdoor furniture to enjoy alfresco dining, alongside a hot tub and tennis court.

To the front of the property there is plenty of parking spaces for your group to take advantage of.

Notes

Well behaved dogs are accepted – please note the dog must not go upstairs or on carpeted areas within the hall.

Hot tub charged at an additional £80 per stay.

Tennis court the estate tennis court works on a first come first served basis.

Please note that single use plastic is discouraged. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, hand soap and washing up liquid are all provided in refillable glass containers.

Parking parking for up to 5 cars is available.

High chairs and cots can be made available on request – please note mattresses and linen for cots are not provided.

Please note there are no stairs gates for the stairs.

If guests would like to book Gresham Hall alongside the attached apartments then there is an adjoining door to connect the whole Hall together. Ideal for large families and groups!

The owners offer a wonderful selection of local treats and produce for their guests on arrival!

The Hall has a strong eco ethos! Firewood is collected from around the estate, when hot tubs are emptied the water is collected to use in the gardens and the sugar-beet and peas grown within the fields are sent to local factories.

Gresham Hall can be found just a 5 minute drive from the golden sands of Sheringham’s Blue Flag beach and 10 minutes from the charming Georgian town of Holt and seaside resort of Cromer. The property is perfectly positioned within the heart of North Norfolk meaning that most of the area’s top attractions are within a 30 minute drive.

If it’s family attractions, historic attractions, coastal attractions or a trip to the Norfolk Broads you’re after then this corner of the world has it all. Children can escape to highlights such as Pensthorpe, Amazon Zoo and The Shire Horse Centre. History buffs can enjoy stately homes such as Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall as well as the amazing Muckleburgh Collection. The coast offers a huge variety of activities such as seal trips at Morston, paddleboarding from Blakeney and surfing from Overstrand, nor forgetting the amazing coastal eateries and hang outs where pints and pies are aplenty.

Whilst the location may be deeply rural, the rail and bus connections are superb from Sheringham. Hop on the train to Norwich and beyond or travel along the coast on the Coast Hopper between pubs and well loved destinations.
